At the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences (BioEnv) we give courses and programs and conducts research within areas that deals with the world around us. Biology is the the study of life, that is all living organisms and the processes that control them, whereas environmental sciences focus on the interplay between humans and nature.
You find us that work at the department in the Botanical building (close to the Botanical garden) and the Zoology building (at Medicinareberget) in Gothenburg as well as at Kristineberg marine station in Fiskebäckskil.
