Northumbrian Water Scientific Services ( NWSS) has been established since 1990, although at that time the company was known by its former name of AES. In April 2007, AES merged with sister company Northumbrian Water Limited in order to further enhance the services provided to clients.
NWSS has gradually developed its services and people over the years, building up a reputation for providing professional and cost effective services to a wide range of customers, large and small.
Many of our staff have been with the organisation since 1990, and have helped with the growth of the business. We are particularly proud of our staff retention, and feel that this is one of the reasons why we provide such a good service - our staff know our business. Also, when clients contact us, they regularly communicate with the same staff, which most people find very reassuring.
Our laboratory analysis and environmental assessment services cover a wide range of industrial and commercial sectors, and we work across the UK to help safeguard your business. We employ over 300 people including laboratory professionals, environmental consultants, noise consultants, and legionella control consultants from a network of locations and three extensively equipped UKAS accredited laboratories.
