AQUAPROIECT S.A. has a 50 years duration and experience in the field, although it is operating under its new name since 1991, the point in time being the year 1953 when the Design Institute of Hydraulic Engineering Structures was set up.In 1999, AQUAPROIECT S.A. became a company with full private capital.AQUAPROIECT S.A. (former ICPGA) having a wide and rich experience in the field of hydraulic basin resource management and flood protection, represents together with 'Apele Romane' National Administration, the Romanian party in the interstate technical Councils of preparing and approximating the flood protection programmes and strategies for the transboundary hydrographic basins. The company has a branch office in Sibiu that acts especially in the river regulation field, bank protection, flood protection of Romanian localities and topographical and geodetical studies and surveys mainly for the Western area of the country.
