Established in 1975, CAMERI offers a variety of coastal and off-shore engineering services.
Our services include: numerical modeling of hydrodynamic phenomena – including, but not limited to – sediment transport and beach nourishment, desalination, cooling water circulation, water quality simulations, oil spill simulations, structure fluid and soil interaction.
CAMERI has conducted wave measurements offshore Ashdod and Haifa since 1992, and collects metocean data including waves, currents, and winds. CAMERI facilities include state of the art hydraulic laboratories used for 2D and 3D physical modeling including breakwater and jetty stability tests and hull testing.
To date, CAMERI has participated in dozens of projects from the Desalination, Oil and Gas, Ports, and Energy Industries, and has played a crucial role in the decision making process on the national scale, in the costal marine and offshore planning and design.
CAMERI resides in the Technion campus, located conveniently within the busy port city of Haifa.
CAMERI therefore benefits from collaborations with the many scientific departments and laboratories of the Technion, enabling CAMERI to harness the elite of Israel's scientific personnel and knowledge.
