- The Faculty of Natural Sciences (FNS) is the leading center in Albania for the preparation of senior specialists in computing, mathematics, physics, chemistry, industrial chemistry, biology, biotechnology. The IFS is also an important institution for the preparation of teachers for secondary schools in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics throughout the Albanian secondary school system. The FIF has an internal academic staff of over 181 employees, of which over 80 are associate professors or professors. It is chaired by the Dean, elected by direct vote of academic, non-academic staff and students.
