The main themes are the study of the dynamics of the lithosphere and the metrology of the Earth and the near Universe. These studies take into account important societal issues: seismic, gravity and tsunami hazards, monitoring of mean sea level and space debris. The Geoazur laboratory is composed of geophysicists, geologists, geochemists, geomechanicists and astronomers working together on three major scientific issues: the dynamics of the lithosphere on land and at sea, natural hazards (seismic, gravity and tsunamogenic) and associated risks, and geodesy.
