- The Laboratory of Parasitic Biology, Protistology and Helminthology depends on the National Museum of Natural History. The MNHN, founded in 1635, aims at the enrichment and the safeguarding of the national heritage. This laboratory is specialized in parasitology: the concerned zoological groups are the parasitic worms or helminths
(Plathelminthes, in particular, Cestodes,
