- The Observatory of Earth Sciences (OSU) Pythéas Institute was established in January 2012. The new OSU brings together five major joint research units:
CEREGE: European Centre for Research and Teaching of Environmental Geosciences
IMBE: Mediterranean Institute of Biodiversity and Ecology of marine and continental
LAM: Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de Marseille
LPED: Population Environment Development Laboratory
MIO: Mediterranean Institute of Oceanology
And a mixed service unit:
UMS Pytheas, a team of over 100 people providing transversal services to laboratories, including OHP, multidisciplinary observation site technical platforms and pooled.
