Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management of Montenegro (Javno preduzeće za upravljanje morskim dobrom Crne Gore), manages the use and protects the coastal zone of Montenegro that consist of narrow coastal land strip (public maritime domain) and the territorial sea. The enterprise with headquarters in Budva and branch offices in Ulcinj, Bar, Tivat and Herceg Novi was established in 1992 by the special decision of the Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro, in accordance with the Law on Public Maritime Domain.
The mission of the Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management of Montenegro is
- protection and promotion of the use of the public maritime domain (coastal and marine resources),
- Coastal Zone Management,
- lease/ handle contracts for the use of public maritime domain,
- construction and maintenance of infrastructure for the needs of the coastal zone.
