- The OGDAP (Oceanography Group - Department of Applied Physics) activities comprise mainly data analysis and numerical modelling. It is not by itself a data collecting organisation. Data are usually collected and processed in collaboration with other institutions such as NCMR, IMBC, etc. The OGDAP has a long tradition in time series analysis and has developed a software package (SEASPECT) distributed to interested institutions. This package has been distributed to more than 30 institutions. The OGDAP has an open policy concerning the exchange of data and it is ready to share data with other institutions. As a university institution the OGDAP has a very important graduate and postgraduate teaching activity and research. It participates in a number of national and European projects (MAST, EPOCH).
