- The main task of our site is to help in the decision of tasks on the
protection of public health and the environment from persistent organic
pollutants (POPs), high toxic substances that are resistant to
degradation, possessing the ability to accumulate in the environment and
in living organisms and to cross-border transfers at larges distances.
POPs represent a particular hazard to public health; appear to be risk
factors of the development of a series of malignant neoplasms,
violations of reproductive health, endocrine and immune status, central
and peripheral nervous system.
