- "Volgageologiya" is the largest geological enterprise of region. It incorporates 14 structural divisions which are located in cities of the Volga region and the Kama region. The Enterprise is functioning in Russia and abroad. Over 1100 people work in the Enterprise among them 600 executives and specialists of whom 11 have scientific degrees (including 1 Academician of RANS and 2 Academicians of AGS).
Activities:

drilling, maintenance and repairing of functioning water drill wells in settlements,
at industrial enterprises, in sanatoria, at hydropathical establishments and at private farms; -
engineering geological survey of territories for the purposes of construction and land-reclamation. Examination of grounds at construction sites for building houses and structures. Topographic-geodesic works. Engineering - geological research works for road communications, automobile roads and railways;

monitoring of the environment including atmosphere, soils, underground waters
and ordinary waters, aeration zones (of active exchange) for the purpose of discovering pollution of the environment. Ecological examination of hard and liquid wastes of industrial enterprises and also of the sites surrounding enterprises for the purpose of examination of their effect on the environment. -
Geophysical research in drill holes.
All methods of standard carotage. Conducting geophysical and hydrochemical control in the drill holes of the sites with deeply buried industrials wastes. Analyzing the conditions of cementing out of pipes and also stating the thickness of the sides of pipes. -
The methods of electronic reconnaissance using constant current, seismic reconnaissance which help to discover and measure prospective areas for searching carbonate deposits, gyps, clays, sands and fresh underground waters. The application of geophysical methods makes it possible to cut the cost price of geological reconnaissance works.
