The Laboratory of Environmental Toxicology and Aquatic Ecology has internationally recognized expertise in fundamental and applied ecotoxicological research. The research activities are aimed at (1) the detection and identification of environmental endocrine disruption in freshwater and marine environments, (2) the bioavailability and the ecological risks of metals in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems and (3) ecological risk assessment procedures.
