- The main activities of the Sezione Geo-Mineralogica are in the fields of Geochemistry and Mineralogy of sediments. Some of the research is in the field of interaction between contaminants and sediments. Sedimentary processes are also investigated. Several studies were carried out in the Adriatic Sea at different scale. Particular attention was devoted to the Northern Adriatic Sea coastal region. The data collected in the past are reported in papers published in national and international journals.
