In Ivory coast IRD with different local partners leads research in the health, social and economic sciences of environment and living resources. IRD participates to the training of Ivory Coast researchers giving its knowledge on tropical areas and a skill network and scientific relations usful to development. IRD is composed of a team of about 100 persons (researchers and engeniers).
