- Since 1 January 2018, Ifremer has been operating the French oceanographic fleet for the benefit of all French user communities. This fleet consists of four deep-sea vessels (Marion Dufresne, Pourquoi Pas?, Thalassa, L'Atalante), five coastal vessels (L'Europe, Thalia, Haliotis, Téthys II and Côtes de la Manche), two vessels deployed overseas (Alis, Antea), five underwater vehicles (Victor 6000, HROV Ariane, Nautile, Idefx, Asterx) and heavy equipment such as seismic equipment.
