- The Direction Territory of Food and the Sea (DTAM) of St. Pierre and Miquelon is an interministerial direction of the State placed under the authority of the Prefect. She was created by the merger of the Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, the Equipment Direction and the Maritime Affairs Department on 1 January 2011. It fulfills all the tasks of the former Directions but with new organization and dynamic that promotes the sharing of jobs and skills. The DTAM is made available to the Territorial Collectivity as requirement of the Organic Law of 2007. It manages the heritage of the Territorial Collectivity, carries out technical engineering missions and assists them in the exercise of there competences.
