In 2008 the Invasive Non-native Species Framework Strategy was developed to meet the challenge posed by invasive non-native species in Great Britain. The Non-native Species Secretariat (NNSS) supports the strategy by providing information about invasive non-native species, work that is being done to tackle them across Great Britain, and provide tools to facilitate those working in this area.
