ATLIS is an independent and experienced privately owned software and consultancy company active in the field of geo informatics. It specialises in software development, service provision and consultancy in the nautical and maritime markets. ATLIS has developed the Spatial Enterprise Nautical Solutions (SENS) product line. SENS Bathymetry provides storage and management of bathymetric data and supports the complete bathymetric workflow from 3D validation and cleaning to the creation of bathymetric products such as contour files and sounding grids. SENS Distribution offers functionality for distributing bathymetric products and data by using OGC and INSPIRE compliant web service technology.
Since 1997 ATLIS has been carrying out projects mainly for the top-500 companies and government agencies in the field of spatial information management, open systems, networking, Internet and web technology. Currently ATLIS employs over 30 enthusiastic professionals.
The ATLIS organisation reflects the major markets in which ATLIS is active. To support our market driven approach all major ATLIS’ projects are organised around three knowledge based service lines:
- The service line Spatial Information Solutions (SIS) focuses its service on integrated, and therefore efficient, use of geographical and administrative information combined with in-depth knowledge of spatial database technology. This enables an effective coupling with the primary (business) processes.
- The service line Project Management (PM) focuses on setting up and optimising project organisations. This is achieved by implementing uniform processes and defining a clear relationship with the operational activities. The focus is on project (portfolio) management and resource management. This service line also provides project management capacity and knowledge for ATLIS’ other activities.
- The service line Java Enterprise Solutions (JES) applies our in-depth knowledge of software engineering using open standards such as Java, XML/XSL, and web services.
