- DIALOGIK was founded in June 2003 by Professor Ortwin Renn and Dr. Hans-Peter Meister. It is a non-profit research institute organised in the legal form of a limited company. The shareholders of the company are Professor Ortwin Renn, Ms Agnes Lampke and Dr. Marion Dreyer. The Institute is jointly directed by the managing directors Ortwin Renn and Agnes Lampke.
As a non-profit research institute, DIALOGIK provides knowledge and expertise to all interested parties and makes its research results public. DIALOGIK is exclusively financed by external funds. Projects of DIALOGIK are funded by the European Commission, federal and State ministries, federal authorities, public and private foundations and research councils. Projects are often carried out in cooperation with external partners from many different countries. For this purpose DIALOGIK has built up an active network with partner institutes in many European countries, Japan and the USA.
