L'Institut des Sciences de l'Ingénieur de Toulon et du Var, or ISITV for short, is a public School of Engineering that offers a diploma recognized by the Comission of Registered Engineers. The School was established in 1991 by combining the teaching and research resources of the University of Toulon with support and collaboration from industry. The programmes we offer at ISITV respond directly to the needs of the professional and business world. Our courses have the benefit of more than 20 years experience of the University of Toulon - Var at the forefront of professional training for the industrial sector. Right from its creation, the ISITV has recognised the importance of opening up to industry and interacting with industrialists who are involved in the teaching of courses or are represented on the administration board of the School and with whom we have signed partnership agreements. We are keenly aware of the need to provide industry with graduates who are at the forefront of new technologies. Different research laboratories in all fields of engineering science are located on the ISITV campus. Our objectives The overriding objective of ISITV is to produce top-level management engineers who can work in Research and Development teams, consulting firms or industry, and are also sufficiently polyvalent to be able to adapt or change fields easily. The ISITV engineer must be able to : - immediatly integrate the professsional environment. - assume rapidly company responsibilities - contribute to the growth of the company in a concrete and significant way.
