- This center accomodates the following Ifremer teams:
- a coastal laboratory (STH) which ensures the follow-up of fisheries in the Northern sea and Eastern Channel. Sea cruises are carried out and statistics on the captures are collected to evaluate "stocks" and to feed the models of the department,
- a coastal laboratory (LER). Its mission is the follow-up of the quality of coastal water on the Northern littoral - Pas-de-Calais - Picardy,
- a basin of tests of applied hydrodynamics, managed by TSI. This unit of service "Applied Hydrodynamic" carries out experiments in the varied fields of hydrodynamics: fish, offshore, petroleum...
